So far, so good.
And by that, I refer to my digestive system not being pounded by gastroenteritis, otherwise know as the runs.
I've managed to stray from local delicacies and feast on the international cuisine, that the hotel I'm billeted at, has made available.
The dinner spread is usually divided in to two i.e. veg and non-veg. And there's usually some dhal and/or raita (sp?) available.
Almost all the international students go hard on the non-veg, because it's probably safer and way less spicier.
However, last night, I encountered a dream siituation that I just couldn't pass up.
And by that, I mean the hotel's kitchen staff had prepared goat curry as one of the options for the dinner buffet.
My knees wobbled, my mouth salivated and my eyes glassed over.
Do they not know how much a serve of goat curry costs in Fiji? LOL
Needless to say, I took to the goat curry with aplomb and I must admit that I went for seconds. And thirds.
Now, I'm usually one of the first to be at dinner at 7pm so I pretty much had the run of the place.
Halfway through my second serve, the dining room starts filling up so I, considering the appetities of my colleagues, decided to only have one more serve before calling it quits.
I am, of course, a very considerate human.

India is fabolous. But, again, it's probably because I'm up north.
I love the shopping here. It's so amazing.
Winter season is almost upon us and I have prepping myself, by purchasing warmies.
I bought three thick hoodies for $15FJD. I was bloody chuffed. Mind you, the dude was selling it out of the back of his car but, in my defence, he was parked next to a mall....so I guess that counts. I think.
The food is cheap. The chocolates are cheap. The fruits are a bit pricey, when you consider everything else, but you know me, I gots to have my daily banana.
So, my room is stocked up with bottled water, chocolates and bananas. Always.
I've found ramen noodles so I bought some, just in case mu hookworms kick in.

Missing my daughters. Heaps.
But I viber them every other night so that's cool. And I won't be gone as long as last year's 7-month stretch in New Cal.
----------
I've set myself a goal during this trip and that is to quit smoking. The hotel has a adequate gym that I have recon'd and it has pleased me. Immensely.
So hopefully, by the time I return to 679, I shed some of this daddy weight.

Kere update!
